Infant and Toddler (August/September 2026 – February 2028)
Hilltop Christian Childcare Centre is accepting applications for an Infant and Toddler Educator to work in our Infant and Toddler program. This is a temporary position to cover a Maternity Leave from Aug/September 2026 – February 1st 2028. The applicant should have the desire to work with children aged 0-3 years, and be comfortable working in a Christian environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead open ended experiences with ease and enthusiasm
Provide developmentally appropriate care and activities for the children
Demonstrate a culturally sensitive approach to situations with parents, while still enforcing the guidelines set out by the centre
Build a relationship with each child and family
Observe and support the individual child
Must be comfortable caring for Infants and Toddlers
Qualifications
Valid Infant and Toddler ECE Certificate (MUST)
Valid First Aid Certificate
Valid Criminal Record Check
Hours and Wage
Temporary Full-Time 35-40 hours/week
Start Date: September 1st 2026 (or earlier)
Shift: Monday-Friday, between 7:30AM-5:30PM
$22.00 – 23.75 – Depending on experience and qualifications
Eligible for Wage Enhancement (additional +$6.00/hour)

This position has the potential to lead to a full-time permanent position.
