**Responsible Adult/Early Childhood Educator Assistant (with Class 4 Driver’s License) – Part-Time (12 month contract)

Hilltop Christian Childcare Center is accepting applications for Class 4 driver with a RA, or ECEA certificate  to work in our School-Age Program. The applicant should have the desire to work with children aged 4-12 years, and be comfortable working in a Christian environment. The applicant MUST have a class 4 drivers license, or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities:

Lead open-ended experiences with ease and enthusiasm
Provide developmentally appropriate care and activities for the children
Demonstrate a culturally sensitive approach to situations with parents, while still enforcing the guidelines set out by the center
Build a relationship with each child and family
Observe and support the individual child
Support the program with closing duties
Qualifications:

Class 4 License (required, or willing to obtain within 3 months)
Licensed Child Certificate (Responsible Adult/ECEA/ECE)
Valid First Aid Certificate
Valid Criminal Record Check
Hours and Wage:

Part-Time 30 hours/week (12 month contract)
Shift: Monday-Friday (split shift scheduled between 7-9:30AM / 2:00-6:00PM)
Dates : Jan 5th – Dec 24th 2026
Potential for more hours, or continuous shift during School district closures (Winter/Spring/Summer Break/Pro-D days)
$19.25 – 20.00 – Depending on experience and qualifications in accordance with our wage scale.
*ECE’s are eligible for Wage Enhancement (+$6.00/hr)*

5 paid sick days
4% annual vacation on each pay cheque
Life and Health insurance: After three months of successful probation, employees are enrolled in the health and life insurance plan at no cost to the employee. Insurance plan includes life insurance, extended medical and dental coverage.
