This quarter in the Studio, we’ll be focusing on mark making. Mark making is the creation of different patterns, lines, textures, and shapes. This term is used to describe the early scribbles that children make as they explore how to express themselves visually! Join us as we experiment with a variety of materials, textures, and tools that will spark curiosity and creativity.

The studio is a creative space where we explore, transform, and investigate materials to help you build a lasting connection with art that inspires children’s curiosity.

During these times, you’ll be free to experiment with different art forms through open-ended play. We’ll discuss ways to enrich early learning environments and inspire children. This space allows you to become comfortable with various materials, empowering you to share them with children for deeper exploration.
