What are the key concepts in early mathematics? In this session, Janice will share the big ideas in early mathematics such as counting, decomposing, spatial reasoning, and patterning. She will share how these ideas develop over the years, and the materials and playful experiences that can support the development of these ideas in children in both indoor and outdoor contexts. Ideas and resources for families will also be shared.
