The Tenth Nerve

A Brain Surgeon’s Stories of the Patients Who Changed Him

by Dr. Chris Honey

Merinda just finished reading this captivating memoir by a local neurosurgeon at Vancouver General Hospital. She thought it was an interesting read about what is often kept behind operating room doors. She shares that it was easy to read, and fascinating to learn about what happens when Dr. Honey opens that door. The book gives a unique perspective, as he reflects on his experience and what he has learned about the human condition. It is available to borrow from Surrey Libraries and the Fraser Valley Regional Library.
