About the Position
ELFi First School is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Infant ECE Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for an educator who truly enjoys working with infants and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in their profession and is looking to build a long-term career in Early Childhood Education.

💰 Compensation
ECE: $21.00/hour + $6.00/hour WE
ECEA: $19.00/hour + $6.00/hour WE
Employee benefits available after successful completion of the probationary period
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:

Valid BC ECE or ECEA certification
Minimum 2 years of experience working in Canadian licensed group child care
Experience working with infants is required
Fluent in spoken and written English
Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
Must be available to work within our centre hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Current First Aid/CPR certification
Clear Criminal Record Check as required by Child Care Licensing
Good understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices
Reliable, responsible, and professional
Able to work effectively as part of a team
