Online Workshop
Children do not grow and develop in isolation — they are deeply connected to the relationships, experiences, and dynamics within their families. This workshop explores the vital role families play in shaping a child’s emotional well-being, behaviour, participation, and development within child care settings.
Participants will learn how to view children through a family-centered lens by examining the importance of family structure, caregiving relationships, cultural values, stressors, and support systems. Educators will gain a deeper understanding of how a child’s behaviours are often the expression of challenges occurring within the family system.
Explore the importance of building collaborative relationships with families and gain confidence in supporting families with curiosity and care.
