Early Childhood Educator

Experienced ECE Teacher Needed – Play-Based/Reggio Inspired Daycare

We are looking for a warm, experienced (3+years) and dependable Early Childhood Educator to join our childcare team starting in July.

Our centre values play-based learning, child-led exploration, and a caring, supportive environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to grow.

Requirements:

Valid BC ECE Certificate
Fluent English communication skills
Experience working in licensed childcare settings
Strong understanding of play-based and Reggio-inspired learning
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements and daily daycare operations
Positive, calm, and professional approach with children and families
Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging play-based activities
Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Communicate professionally with parents and staff
Complete daily cleaning, supervision, and licensing requirements
Work collaboratively with team members
