Rachel recently tuned in to Suzanne Axelsson and Carla Ward as they discussed Suzanne’s “International Fairy Tea Party”. This celebration is used to “provoke educators to … rethink or rediscover what it is like to play with children and to enter the [magical] realm” of play. Rachel felt inspired by their talk of the magic and wonder that is brought forth during play and how we as adults can join in to that world. It was an encouraging reminder about how important play is; how it can be a great equalizer and how the impossible can become possible. If you’re in need of a little enchantment to ignite your imagination, this is an excellent episode to catch.
