Wage Survey 2021

Sep 22, 2021

Early care and learning professionals play an important role for the children and families in our community, and the last 18 months have shown that child care is an essential part of our infrastructure. Now more than ever it is important to capture the wage range and benefits unique to the early educators working in Delta, Surrey, and White Rock. This data will be compiled and shared on our website and with local community partners that help shape the landscape of early learning and care in our region.

The information that you provide is completely anonymous. No individuals or child care centres will be identified.

At the end of the survey if you provide us with your name and contact information you will be entered into a draw to win two great prizes! One lucky person will win a $100 workshop credit for Child Care Options training and also win a workshop for your team in our Play Studio, hosted by one of our CCRR Staff members! (max.15 staff)

If you work in, or are certified to work in, Early Care and Learning in BC we encourage you also to respond to the 2021 BC Child Care Workforce Survey. Now in its third year, this survey measures changes over time and provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the ECL sector. The survey is open from October 25 – November 22, 2021.

For more information visit ecebc.ca/2021Survey or contact SRDC at bcchildcaresurvey@srdc.org or 1-833-298-3016.Your answers will help inform the Government of BC on how the sector is being impacted by its Early Care and Learning Recruitment & Retention Strategy, COVID-19, and in anticipation of new and changing government policies. The survey also links to an additional survey specifically for employers with more than one child care staff employed. If eligible, we encourage you to complete both surveys.
