Understanding Creative Expression with Infants and Toddlers

This workshop reminds us that very young children are creative individuals who are worthy of having their ideas recognized. Participants will explore examples of infants’ and toddlers’ art and mark-making and learn about why these early forms of artistic expression are important for creative and cognitive development. Participants in this workshop will learn practical ways to implement meaningful and creative artistic opportunities in early childhood programs for children under the age of 3.
