98% of kindergarten children are at a genius level of divergent thinking which is an aspect of creativity which allows us to see many solutions to a given problem. Over time, as we grow up, we lose this ability because we are often taught that there is only one right solution to a problem. This workshop digs into a child’s natural ability to be innovative and how, as educators, we can foster the curiosity of children so that they can flourish and meet their creative potential which will support their success as adults.
