Fill your cup first!

With so much to do as educators, making time to look after yourself is often the first to go. However, taking care of yourself is critical to being able to address the needs of others. As the saying goes, you can’t pour from an empty cup!

In this workshop, we will explore the need to shift the lens on self-care and how to do this in a way that empowers, mentors and contributes to a culture of well-being.  We will look at different methods of self-care, and what this can look like for different people (for example: reading a book, exercising, or dancing). Along with self-care for the body, mind and spirit, we will experiment with breathing, meditation, and other stress releasing techniques. If you’re feeling wired and tired, working hard to sustain all of your responsibilities and want to learn how to fill your cup more often, this is the session for you. Bring a pen and paper, you’ll want to take notes!

– This workshop will be held online through the Zoom platform.
– You will need access to a smartphone, laptop, tablet or computer with a camera and audio capabilities to join us.
– A link will be emailed to you in the days prior to the workshop.. Please click the link ten minutes before the workshop begins to join in. Further instructions will be included in the email.
– For safety reasons we will be locking the meeting at 6:45 pm, so please arrive early or on time to ensure you get in.
