This workshop will address how to create the best environment for developing social cognition and emotional growth for any child. Discussion and stories will show how understanding and engaging a child developmentally will create secure attachment, which is the best soil to grow the social and emotional brain of a child. You will gain a greater understanding about the stages of a young child’s social/emotional development. You will learn how to create the best environment for children’s growth. We will also look into how play encourages a child’s brain growth, and the types of play that are beneficial for a child during each stage. You will walk away with practical and effective strategies on how to manage a child’s challenging behaviours while maintaining a healthy attachment.

– You will need access to a smartphone, laptop, tablet or computer with a camera and audio capabilities to join us.

– For safety reasons we will be locking the meeting at 6:45 pm, so please arrive early or on time to ensure you get in.
