In accordance with the provincial health order, proof of vaccination will be required to attend any indoor workshops, meetings or conferences. When you arrive to the workshop you will need to show proof of vaccination as per the public health order, if you do not have the required vaccinations you will not be admitted into the workshop and no refund or credit will be issued.

 

Cones, clay, leaves: there is so much to play with right outside your door. Discover the delight of playing and learning from loose parts play in nature! Engage with a variety of loose parts in this hands-on workshop and reflect on your play experiences. We’ll also share examples of loose parts creations and projects to inspire your practice.

Presenter: Tricia Edgar
As a small child, Tricia loved to sit outside and look into the branches of the cherry tree in her backyard watching the flowers drift to the ground. As an adult, she is a long time outdoor educator, with over 25 years of experience developing outdoor programs. She teaches all ages, from toddlers to adults. Tricia is the program director of Fresh Air Learning, a society that brings all season play-based, place-based learning to children in the Metro Vancouver area.
