Join us to learn the basics of American Sign Language. This 5 week course is designed specifically for people working with young children. It begins with basic handshapes, alphabet, numbers, pronouns, colours, words and phrases. Then continuous with more words for each category of family, house, toys, questions, people, transportation, feelings, opposites, directions, safety and circle time.
Presenter: Kim Brown
Kim has been teaching a variety of American Sign Languages courses for 18 years. She carries a BA in Psychology and is an Early Childhood Special Needs Educator with over 30 years as a consultant, instructor, teacher and facilitator.
