Children the Heart of the Matter 2020 Accommodation Application

In partnership with the Province of British Columbia – Ministry of Children & Family Development, and the Government of Canada, Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre (WCCRC) has established the BC Professional Development Bursary Fund for early childhood educators and other child care providers in B.C.

 

100 conference participants travelling more than 75 km to attend the Children the Heart of the Matter conference may be eligible for funds to cover hotel costs as part of the PD Bursary funding for the conference.

 

Application deadline is Monday, December 23, 2019!

 

Am I eligible for this bursary?

Conference participants travelling over 75 km may qualify for this bursary. All interested and eligible participants can apply below, applications are subject to approval.

How do I apply?

Please do not contact the hotel to book a room if applying for the bursary!

Submit your application by clicking on the link below. Once we receive your application, we will review it, and contact you with further details. If approved, we will also provide the details of your booking, including location and check-in information.

If I book my own accommodations, will I be reimbursed?

No. You must apply through the form below in order for your accommodations to be covered.

If I don’t qualify for the bursary, can I still book a room at my own expense?

Yes. All conference participants receive a reduced rate at the Holiday Inn & Suites Surrey East – Cloverdale, until December 30th. After this date the hotel rates will return to their regular rate.
