CCRR Services Contract

UPDATE April 28, 2020

CCRR Contract extended
Great news! We have been notified by MCFD that our current contract will be extended by 18 months! This extension will allow the Ministry and current CCRR providers to focus on supporting the families, children and communities we serve during this pandemic, while also working to reprocure the services.

March 3, 2020
As you are aware, the Ministry issued an Application for Funding (AFF) for the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) Program in October 2019. Due to the quantity of applications received, it is anticipated the evaluation and resulting contract negotiations for services will extend beyond March 31, 2020. In order to ensure uninterrupted CCRR Program services, it is the intent of the Province to extend the above-noted agreement until September 30, 2020

As our CCRR is going through this procurement process we want to thank all of you for your continued support and feedback. We especially want to thank those of you that took part in our consultation process, with the goal to better understand the role and value of Child Care Options in Surrey, Delta and White Rock.

As you may be are aware in accordance with government policy, the Ministry of Children and Family Development is conducting an open procurement for all CCRR services across the province. Current contracts will be ending March 31, 2020. Interested applicants were invited to submit an application to receive funding for the delivery of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) services in locations across the province of BC. Contracts are expected to be awarded in the new year and we will be sure to keep you posted.

We also want to thank the extremely dedicated and committed CCRR staff that during this unsettling time continue to provide you with the outstanding service, that you have come to expect from us. Thank you ladies!!
