      6:30 - 8:00 pm

    • Location:
Child Care Options, #100-6846 King George Blvd Surrey

    • Workshop Description:
This presentation will examine what is meant by digital technology and how current media use influences young children and the family dynamics and relationships. Although the focus is on children under five, there is also room for discussion related older children and teens. The presentation is based on Yvonne’s experiences in the field as well as current research on the topic. Indications are that digital media use has an impact on physical health, emotional well-being and social relationships. There will be time for questions and discussion which includes suggestions for parents who want to know how much is too much and what do I do about this?
