A foundational component of good teaching is being able to build secure attachments with young children. When we build positive relationships with children, they will generally be more open to learning, as well as being more compliant and less likely to engage in challenging behaviors. In this workshop we will explore practical strategies in building these positive relationships.
Presenter: Rebecca Mitchell
Rebecca has a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology with a specialty in Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health. She has worked in the field for 25 years and currently holds a position with The Centre for Child Development.
