In this workshop the participants will explore the revisions made to the BC Early Learning Framework and will engage in group discussions about the purpose behind the revisions. They will learn about words/concepts used in the Early Learning Framework such as pedagogical narration, inquiry and pathways. Participants will consider how to implement the Early Learning Framework theory into their early years setting.

Presenter: Ana Valle Rivera

Ana is an early childhood educator with Special Needs and Infant Toddler Certification. She is a mother, children’s book author, and workshop facilitator. Ana is currently a student at the University of Victoria studying Child and Youth Care.

NOTE: It is important that participants bring copies of their current curriculum/ programming sheets to consider how they could implement aspects of the revised Early Learning Framework in their practice/center.
