Behaviours are a great form of expression! Understanding the message behind this behaviour is the secret to understanding how to manage them more easily and effectively. Good communication and quality connection are two of the most essential parts to encouraging great behaviour! Discussing expectations with children by using the key learning styles as well as playtime, are critical pieces in experiencing more good behaviour from children such as smoother transitions, good listening and joyful motivation to do what is expected of them.
This workshop is designed for people who want to increase children’s learning in emotional development throughout the curriculum. It also serves to build skills for those who want to be more effective, efficient and energetic when interacting with children as well as a renewed sense of commitment and purpose.
This workshop will include a framework to discover the basic fundamentals of encouraging positive behaviour, create a plan to inject more emotional development skill-building throughout the daily routines and reinforce the good behaviour that’s demonstrated and correct any undesirable behaviour that takes place.
This will be an interactive discussion that includes opportunities for questions, situational examples, take home tools to use towards a future action plan in your center as well as moments of reflection to connect head and heart to the core of this matter.
