This workshop introduces the ideas behind Anti-Bias Curriculum, which is an inclusive approach to celebrating all children and families in your center. Participants will learn what an Anti-Bias Curriculum is and learn how to create a curriculum that reflects values that reduce bias. During the workshop, participants will explore practical ideas for creating a play-based curriculum that allows all young children to be recognized and have a voice.

Suitable for all early learning and child care professionals

Presenter: Andrea Dawson

Andrea has worked with young children and their families for the past 20 years, most recently as part of Vancouver Community Health’s 0-5 Mental Health team. Andrea is a full time faculty at Langara College in the Early Childhood Education program.
